[ Intro ]

Mohammad Aminur Rahman Maruf, Product designer with an MCP-based design ecosystem.

I design complex SaaS and enterprise products for growing startups. The work runs in clear weekly cycles, so you see real progress every week, and developers get designs they can build without guesswork.

One connected workspace

Ideas, plans and wireframes stay linked from one step to the next, so nothing gets rebuilt from scratch.

Decisions stay human

Founders, production and operations teams and I decide what gets built. AI doesn’t sit in those meetings.

Products I’ve helped ship

From PropTech to insurance, for teams with live products and real users.

  • Europe’s largest AI-powered PropTech database
  • The world’s first social-media-based PropTech platform
  • Europe’s first property management system for small hotels
  • Bangladesh’s leading diploma-based ed-tech platform
  • An insurance quoting tool with intimidating math behind it
  • One of the earliest comprehensive AI tool directories

Tested and polished

I check every build with the developers until it matches the design.

Industries I know well

    hello:data

A competitor tracker for real estate agents

Agents in Spain were losing hours, and clients, to manual competitor research. I designed a tool that tracks competitor listings, keeps them organised and turns them into a link clients can browse.

    MallorcaMagic

Turning social reach into a property platform

MallorcaMagic had 1.5M+ followers but a website that couldn't turn them into buyers. I redesigned it into a place where people discover homes and agents promote them.

    Eastland Insurance

A website redesign and premium calculator

One of Bangladesh's longest-standing insurers had a website stuck in the 1990s. I modernised it without losing the brand, and designed a calculator that replaces a paper-based process.

    FindTools

    An AI tool discovery platform

AI directories were endless walls of logos. I designed FindTools so people can describe a problem, find tools that actually solve it, and learn how to use them.

How I work

People, AI and the tools in between.

MCP is a connector that lets AI work inside the tools I design with, so research, ideas and first wireframes move from one tool to the next without being rebuilt by hand. Less time goes into setup and rework, and more into getting the product right. People sit closest to the centre, because that’s where the real decisions get made.

I get to know the business and the people using it, and AI helps me synthesise what we learn, quickly. Tight on lean projects, deeper when the problem demands it.

Maruf

Product designer

I sit in the middle. People tell me what the business and its users need, AI speeds up the early work, and I make the design calls and see them through to launch.

Services

From first idea to a polished product.

Seven stages a product moves through with me, each one feeding the next. Scroll through, or pick one.

  1. Before any screen, we agree on what the product has to do for the business. Together we set the goal, weigh the options and decide what to build first and what can wait.

  2. User interviews, stakeholder conversations, competitive analysis and journey mapping, turned into patterns the whole team can act on.

  3. The smallest version that proves the idea. I plan the flows with AI to move quickly, build wireframes around real tasks and get something testable in front of people early.

  4. High-fidelity interfaces I design myself, on top of a design system with clear specs, so development moves faster with fewer questions. Every new screen fits with the rest, and the product stays consistent as it grows.

  5. Custom icons and small animations for states, feedback and transitions, so the interface feels responsive and easier to follow. I make the motion with AI tools, under my direction.

  6. I run the work in weekly cycles. Each week starts with an agreed plan and ends with something you can review, and Notion and ClickUp keep founders, developers and marketers in step.

  7. Once development starts, I test every build on staging and again on pre-production, log what’s off in ClickUp and work through the fixes with the developers. After release, I check it once more in production.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

01What kind of work do you take on?

Freelance projects and full-time product design roles. I’m happiest owning a complex SaaS or enterprise product from early research all the way to launch.

02How do you use AI in your work?

For the early work: research synthesis, ideation, function planning and first wireframes. My AI tools are connected to the tools I design in, so that work moves quickly instead of being rebuilt at every step. The business decisions are made with your team, and the final visual design is mine.

03How many clients do you work with at once?

My working week in Dhaka runs Monday to Friday in two blocks. From 8am to 4pm I work with teams ahead of GMT, across Asia Pacific and Australia. From 6pm to midnight I work with teams behind GMT, across the Atlantic. That way I can hold contracts on both sides of the world, and each one gets proper hours inside its own working day.

04What does an MVP journey with you look like?

Understanding first, then ideation, then phase one: the design is completed and handed off to developers. Sometimes founders want design and development to run at the same time. I’m good at handling that, keeping the design a step ahead so developers always know what’s coming next.

05How do you hand over a design?

With a presentation to the stakeholders, so everyone understands the feature and the thinking behind it. Then I monitor the build and test it on staging and pre-production before it goes live, and check it again once it’s in production.
